The heat is said to be breaking tomorrow, so we have one more day of baking in the heat. Now it truly doesn’t bother me, it just means I have to drink more water to make up for what I sweat away or that the beer takes away!! Me and the V.P. of Blog Marketing took in dinner in White Bear Lake last night, at Manitou Station, the beer selection was a bit thin, but the food and company were GREAT! I enjoyed a Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale and a Schell’s Czech Dark Lager Stag Series #5. Both were very good and just what I needed to end a long day after the 4th of July. IN any case, here are a few things to partake in this weekend and beyond:
- TONIGHT form 4-6 at Thomas Liquors is Fitty’s First Friday where Fitty will be sampling beers form Widmer Brothers and there may be a Dork Sighting as well!
- Finnegans is looking for volunteers for the All Points North Beer Festival in Duluth that runs from July 20th thru July 22nd, CLICK HERE FOR INFO!
SLOW WEEKEND FOR BEER EVENTS, However I know that the taprooms are open and there are several Firkin Fridays happening around town…
