I have been a MAJOR slouch lately, have I lost my passion for BEER? Have a I lost my love for Beer North? Neither of these assumptions are correct, my love and passion is still alive and well for both of the aforementioned subjects. It appears that with this little thing called a JOB that pays the rent, my ambitions for the site are taking a back seat to sleep and other responsibilities. WIth that said, please do NOT stop checking back to Beer North whenever you can, I may cut the number of posts from 5 to 3 per week. Most probably trimming Tuesday posts, unless I have a can’t miss story that I need to share. We’ll see how it goes…for now here is the latest beer news to you…
Who has been to the Great Minnesota Get Together? Not I, but possibly on Labor Day, the exhibit NOT to miss is the Land of 10,000 Beers in the Agriculture Building open 9-9 Daily. The exhibit offers flights of beer from Minnesota brewers.
Bemidji Brewing Company has received their Federal Brewing notice which allows them to apply for their state brewing license, CLICK HERE for the full story compliments of mnbeer.com
Left Hand Brewing will distribute it’s Oktoberfest to all 25 states in their distribution footprint, including Minnesota. Last year the beer was only available in their home market of Colorado.
Brau Brothers has announced their Quad has been bottled and will be ready for shipment in a couple of weeks.
Leinenkugel’s has announced another shandy to go with their highly successful Summer Shandy. They will release Lemon Berry Shandy September 1st, just in time for Labor Day Weekend!
