I hope and pray that ALL of BEER NORTH NATION is SAFE today as we celebrate the 236th Anniversary of the Birth of OUR NATION! Might be a simple read today as I don’t think many people will be in front of their computer on the 4th…

- Just got a message form my friend Fitty of Thomas Liquors, his Fitty’s First Friday 4-6 p.m. this week(7/6) will be highlighting Widmer Brothers Brewing, get in there and say “HI” to Fitty, there might be a Dork Sighting!

- Goose Island to release more than twice as much Bourbon County Stout this year than previous years, which is good news for us, as long as the quality remains..

- Bell’s Brewery announced on Monday that they will be going into the wine business, I hope that the wine doesn’t distract them form the GREAT beers they produce!

- A new taproom in town, Excelsior Brewing has opened their taproom and will be open this week TODAY 2-8, Thursday & Friday 4-10, and Saturday Noon-10.

- Full Sail to release New Brewer’s Share Experimental Beer Clinton’s Wertzbier

That is ALL for TODAY as I am going to find some way to stay COOL on this INdependence Day, Take a MOMENT and raise a BEER or THREE in HONOR of 4th of JULY!!!!
